Treats without regret: Walnut and apricot bars

Sweet, tasty, sugar-free snack. Easy to make.


1 cup walnuts

1 cup dried apricots (200g)

4 tablespoons whole grain rolled oats

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1 teaspoon cocoa (unsweetened)

For taste you can add a couple of tablespoons of lemon juice and a little salt.


Rinse the walnuts, place in a food processor and grind. Rinse apricots, add two tablespoons of water and also grind in a food processor. You can also blend these two components together. Put whole grain rolled oats in frying pan to roast a little bit. In a bowl mix thoroughly chopped apricots, walnuts, oat flakes, add lemon juice or salt, cinnamon and cocoa. Lay baking pan 30x20cm with baking paper, put mixture inside, press to smooth it. Then refrigerate for 4 hours. Cut into pieces, you will get approximately 12 bars.
